Choir

Welcome to the homepage of the Hahnville High School Choir. Current students can find up to date information on the Hahnville Choir Google Classroom.

We offer two non-auditioned groups:

• Beginning Choir meets Fall & Spring Semester, and performs at all of the HHS Concerts.
• Singing Class meets in the Spring. This class focuses on the essentials of singing (posture, breath, tone, musicality, etc.). Students work on ensemble and solo repertoire. These students are not required to perform at the HHS concerts, but have opportunities to showcase their work in other ways.

We offer three auditioned groups:

• Men's Choir
• Varsity Chorale
• Treble Choir

These groups meet during the Fall and/or Spring semesters. They perform at all of the HHS Concerts as well as select school assemblies, district, and community events.

In addition to the opportunities to perform at Hahnville High School, all enrolled choir students are extended the opportunity to audition for the Louisiana American Choral Director's Association Honor Choir, the Louisiana Music Educators Association Choir, and the local District and Parish Honor Choirs.
