There are many scholarship opportunities for students planning to attend college. Such scholarships include, but are not limited to the following:
Merit Scholarships- based on student academic success in high school
Performance Scholarships- based on athletic, band, dance, community service, or leadership for a club, etc.
Departmental Awards- Be sure to contact individual departments at the colleges/universities to see if they have dollars to be given out. For example, if you are majoring in Business, there may be a scholarship just for business majors. It never hurts to ask!
