College and Career Planning
Visiting Colleges
Juniors are permitted 1 day during the school year to visit college campuses. Additionally, Seniors are permitted 2 days to visit college campuses. Students planning to attend a campus visit should notify teachers prior to the visit to gather any work they may miss while out. Parents/Guardians must also notify the attendance office of the date of the planned visit. The absence will be counted as a college visit when the student presents a letter to the attendance office from the college on the college's letterhead confirming the date the student was on a campus visit. These college visits do NOT count against students for final exam exemption purposes.
School to Career Center
Through the School to Career Center, students can get help exploring post-high school pathways available following graduation.
These pathways include: universities, 2-year colleges, technical school, apprenticeships, military and work options.
