Mr. Jose Gonzales II

My journey in education began 16 years ago and has been solely confined to St. Charles Parish Public Schools; 15 of those years being at Hahnville High School.  I joined the HHS family in 2008. Over the ensuing years, I solidified my tiger pride through my teaching of Algebra I, and as a Basketball, Track & Field, and Cross Country Coach. I have served HHS as a teacher, Staff Development Coordinator, and Assistant Principal. I now have the honor of serving the school and community that I love as Principal.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts from Berea College in Berea, KY, and my Masters in Educational Leadership from Southeastern Louisiana University. 

I am excited to continue my work with the HHS family as we embody and demonstrate our core values of growth, integrity, and pride. By doing so, we aim to encourage and empower our students to achieve success and lift themselves to new heights. This can only be done through the partnership of our faculty, staff, parents, and community members. I am motivated by the thought that we are shaping and supporting each of our students in finding their niche in a global community. It is with the utmost pride that I can say that we are truly a tiger family. We are Fierce. Noble. Strong. Together!
