MISSION & PHILOSOPHY

Hahnville High School exists to ensure that all students learn and achieve at high levels (grade level or above).

Hahnville High School, home of the Tigers, was established in 1924 as an outgrowth of the original Hahnville Consolidated School. Throughout its history, Hahnville High School has been heralded as a progressive and innovative school. Quoted in the local newspaper at is 1924 opening, the first Hahnville High School was "modern in every respect and fully equipped." With the support of a dynamic community which has placed education as a priority, we have been able to continually improve to reflect the ever-changing needs of the community by providing students with the best resources and educational experiences possible. With graduates spanning the globe, we will continue to equip students with the tools necessary to shape a community, state, country, and world.

School System Raises More Than $117,000 for United Way of St. Charles

St. Charles Parish Public Schools raised $117,582.41 for the United Way of St. Charles through its 2025 fundraising campaign. An overview of the school system’s campaign was presented to the school board at its meeting on January 14, 2026, where Superintendent Dr. Ken Oertling and School Board President Mr. Scott Cody presented United Way of St. Charles Executive Director John Dias with a check on behalf of the school system’s employees and students.
